Nanyang Technological University, in collaboration with LPDP, presents the Indonesia-NTU Singapore TalEnt Programme (INSTEP). This program provides a Master’s scholarship scheme designed for Indonesian citizens who wish to pursue a full-time Master’s degree at NTU with a co-funded scholarship from LPDP and NTU.
Eligibility Criteria
- Indonesian citizens (warga negara Indonesia).
- Applicants must be shortlisted by LPDP.
- Applicants must meet the general admission requirements for the Master’s programme. Please refer to the respective programmes for any additional requirements.
- Existing final-year undergraduates may apply for admission with a provisional degree certificate and/or yearly examination results to date.
- For applicants whose native language is not English, the TOEFL/IELTS score is to be submitted with the application for admission (test dates must be within 2 years or less from the date of application).
- Applications without TOEFL/IELTS will still be eligible to apply, but they may be subjected to an interview/test if deemed necessary by the School.
- Applicants must be recommended by their home university to apply for this programme.
Coverage
- The maximum duration of scholarship award is one (1) year for Master’s by Coursework and two (2) years for Master’s by Research (STEM).
- The details of the scholarship are as follows:
- Tuition and fees: The prevailing tuition fees are available on NTU’s website
- Reimbursable application fees
- Monthly stipend, in accordance with LPDP’s established norms by LPDP for students pursuing a Master’s degree at NTU for either one (1) or (2) years of study
- One (1) round-trip international airfare
- Funds to enrol in a medical insurance plan
- Visa-related expenses
- Settling-in allowance, emergency fund, and other expenses according to LPDP and MoECRT policies
Note: After completing the NTU Master’s Programme, INSTEP scholarship awardees are expected to return and contribute to Indonesia, in accordance with the provisions set by LPDP.
