Semarang, ft.undip.ac.id – Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) will be organizing the International Conference on Global Sustainability and Chemical Engineering (ICGSCE 2012) on 24th – 26th April 2012. The purpose of this inaugural ICGSCE 2012 is to highlight the roles and responsibilities that modern chemical engineering plays in preserving the environment whilst satisfying the continually increasing demands of consumers and industry.
Call for Papers
The event provides participants from academia and industry with an outstanding opportunity for presenting their research findings and promoting networking between like-minded individuals who recognize the need for change and enable identification of viable routes and methods by which such sustainable changes can be implemented. Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers in accordance, but not limited to the following themes:
Global warming
Biofuels
Carbon sequestration
Carbon/water footprinting
Green technology
Environmental technology
Fuel cells
Biotechnology
Food technology
Separation technology
Advanced materials
Nanotechnology
Process modeling and simulation
Process control
Full research manuscripts will be published after a regular peer-review in a special journal issue.

Manuscript submission and payment of fees: December 31, 2011
Final revised manuscript submission: February 29, 2012

Other activities including a trip to either Malacca/Putrajaya will cost a further RM 100.
