Fakultas Teknik Undang Profesor dari Osaka University untuk Beri Kuliah Tamu tentang Robotika Biomedis

Selasa, 3 September 2024, Fakultas Teknik Undip berkesempatan untuk menggelar kuliah tamu bersama profesor dari Osaka University, Prof. Keisuke Morishima. Kuliah tamu ini digelar di R. Teater, Gedung Prof. Ir. Eko Budihardjo, M.Sc Lantai 4.

Prof. Keisuke Morishima sendiri merupakan guru besar bidang nanoteknologi dari Department of Mechanical Engineering, Osaka University. Osaka University sendiri merupakan salah satu kampus unggulan dunia yang saat ini menduduki peringkat 86 menurut QS World University Ranking 2024. Kuliah tamu ini merupakan hasil inisiasi dari salah satu akademisi Fakultas Teknik Undip, yaitu Mochammad Ariyanto, S.T, M.T, Ph.D yang baru saja menyelesaikan studi S3 beliau di Osaka University.

Prof. Keisuke Morishima sedang memberikan kuliah tamu di hadapan mahasiswa dari Teknik Mesin dan Teknik Elektro Undip. Mochammad Ariyanto, S.T, M.T, Ph.D didapuk sebagai moderator dalam kuliah tamu ini

Dalam kesempatan kali ini, Prof. Morishima memberikan kuliah tamu dengan tema “Bio-inspired and Bio-hybrid Robotics”. Di hadapan para mahasiswa dari Departemen Teknik Mesin dan Departemen Teknik Elektro Undip, peneliti tamu Stanford University ini menjelaskan mengenai riset beliau dalam mengembangkan robotika biomedis untuk mendukung daya hidup manusia.

Selain kuliah tamu, dalam kunjungan beliau di Fakultas Teknik Undip, Prof. Morishima juga membahas mengenai potensi kerja sama akademik antara Osaka University dengan Universitas Diponegoro bersama dengan pimpinan Fakultas Teknik Undip. Rencananya, dalam waktu dekat, Mochammad Ariyanto akan diundang sebagai peneliti tamu di laboratorium Prof. Morishima di Osaka University.

Dekan Fakultas Teknik Undip, Prof. Dr. Jamari, S.T, M.T, IPU, mengapresiasi digelarnya kuliah umum ini. Beliau berharap, Prof. Morishima bisa terus bekerja sama dengan Fakultas Teknik Undip ke depannya. “Fakultas kami sangat berterima kasih kepada Prof. Morishima. Kami berharap kesempatan ini tidak menjadi yang pertama dan yang terakhir untuk beliau. Semoga akan ada waktu lain bagi beliau untuk datang kembali ke sini,” harap Prof. Jamari.
