On July 8, 2022, in the Fourth Floor Theater Room, Faculty of Engineering Dean Building, a working visit from Polines and UIN Malang was held. The primary purpose of this activity is to share experiences from the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Diponegoro, which has won the Corruption Free Area Integrity Zone (ZI-WBK) title.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Ir. M. Agung Wibowo, MM, M.Sc., Ph.D opened the event with remarks. He expressed gratitude because he could exchange knowledge and discuss ZI-WBK with Polines and UIN Malang. In their speech, Polines and UIN Malang representatives also conveyed a sense of happiness.
Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. nat. tech. Siswo Sumardiono, ST, MT, explained the strategy of FT Undip in achieving ZI-WBK, followed by a discussion. This sharing session ran enthusiastically and lively, as seen from the many responses and questions.
TW-III Internal Audit on the first day Located on the III Floor of the Electrical Department Building, Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University, July 7, 2022, and for the second day, 8 july 2022 located on the the Civil Department Building. TW III Opening Internal Audit activity has been carried out to maximize all the activities of the Faculty of Engineering. All staff, education staff, and heads of related departments discussed and prepared all the files needed to support and support all activities and programs of the Undip Faculty of Engineering.
The TW-3 internal audit activity was divided into three topics, namely a public hearing, which was chaired directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Ir. M. Agung Wibowo, MM, M.Sc., Ph.D, and preparation related to curriculum and academics by Vice Dean I, Prof. Dr. grout. tech. Siswo Sumardiono, ST, MT and discussion of trials associated with PBM Offline and K3 by Dr. Abdul Syakur, ST, MT as Deputy Dean II. Each sub-discussion on the implementation of the TW-III Internal Audit went well and smoothly until the end of the discussion.
“We have to enjoy the process,” said the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Undip, Prof. Ir. M. Agung Wibowo, MM, M.Sc., Ph.D while sharing his experience of the development of ZI-WBK FT Undip at the ZI-WBK training agenda for 11 Universities on the 5th Floor of the Dean Building, Faculty of Engineering Undip. This training was attended by Undip Deputy Chancellor II, Head of Ortala Bureau, Inspector General of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology, Dean and Deputy Dean of the Undip Faculty of Engineering, as well as representatives from 11 State Universities, including the University of Lampung, UPN “Veteran” East Java, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology , University of North Sumatra, Tanjungpura University, Denpasar Institute of the Arts, Hasanuddin University, Jember University, Airlangga University, and Bandung Institute of Technology.
The Undip Faculty of Engineering is trusted to assist 11 State Universities because it has achieved the corruption-free Regional Integrity Zone (ZI-WBK) title from the Ministry of Empowerment of State Apparatus and State Reform (Ministry of Empowerment of State Apparatus and State Reform) PANRB). With this event, it is hoped that the Faculty of Engineering, Undip and the 11 State Universities can share experiences with each other regarding the implementation of ZI-WBK.
A safe and clean educational environment is the main goal of implementing ZI-WBK. The Corruption-Free Regional Integrity Zone (ZI-WBK) is a predicate given to a work unit that has successfully implemented bureaucratic reform, which has met most of the criteria for the improvement process on the determining component as well as realizing clean and accountable government also excellent public services. The existence of ZI-WBK in universities as educational institutions will have a vital impact on the comfort of all parties, mainly students because universities play an important role in educating the nation’s next generation. A university environment with integrity will help its students to develop much better with transparency and supportive facilities.
Universities that can create a transparent and clean environment also implement the values of ZI-WBK will get “public trust,” said Dr. Chatarina Muliana, S.H., S.E., M.H. as the Inspector General of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology. The public trust that has been successfully built by universities will not only have a good impact on the university’s reputation but will also have a positive impact on the wider scope of the ZI-WBK.
The whole series of events was very dynamic, attended by various university representatives and related parties, this event was able to achieve the objectivity of the activity, namely providing understanding and direction to all members who attended the ZI-WBK preparation activities. This event was also enlivened by the appearance of PSMT Undip who managed to put on a stunning performance by singing the songs Cik Cik Periuk and Soleram. All discussion activities went smoothly and it is hoped that this event will be the main step that can have a big impact on the future of ZI-WBK.
