Antawirya Team of Faculty of Engineering Universitas Diponegoro (FT UNDIP) was released by Rector of UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, SH., M. Hum on February 17, 2017 at the Hall of Faculty of Engineering. They were released to participate on the Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2017 Competition in Singapore on March 16-19, 2017.
Ir.M.Agung Wibowo, MM., M.Sc. as the Dean of Faculty of Engineering accompanied with Vice Dean of the FT Undip Prof. Dr. Moh Djaeni, ST., M.Eng and representatives of PT Shell Indonesia which is supporting the implementation of activities Antawirya team was attend in this occasion.

Student of Architecture Engineering Program 2014, Faculty of Engineering UNDIP, Fatima Al Zahra became a winner at the team of English Debate Competition and enter the final stage to the category of Public Speaking. It obtained at the PELTAC 2017 held in Malaysia.
PELTAC is an annual international event organized by the Society of Manufacturing Engineer, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). PELTAC is an abbreviation of Professional, Engineering, Leadership, Teamwork and Awareness Camp, which is essentially a developing arena of the participants, especially the field of soft skills (http://peltac.com/). The program comprises several activities including training (entrepreneurship field, and leadership), discussions, seminars, team building, extreme sport, and competition. The participants will be competed and divided into groups, which each group will be given the challenge.
In this year, PELTAC held on January 21- 26, 2017 at Kolej Tun Hussein On, UTM, Skudai, Johor. At this event there were 80 participants from various countries including from the ASEAN region, the Middle East, China, India, and Africa.

One of program that conducted by team of KKN Undip is giving the training for the Elementary School student to be little doctors. It was implemented at SD Negeri 01 Cukil Kec. Tengaran Kab. Semarang (26th of January 2017). The program is conducted for implementing the material that has already given at school.
First material is introduction kind of medicines are sold freely on the market. Hopefully, by observing these medicines, the little doctors can give a help properly. Then they are trained to give aid such as handling for broken bones, dressing wounds, handling for convulsions, making oralit and handling for nosebleeds.
Further, to measure the level of understanding of the material that has been taught, then held a quiz. For 3 participants who have the highest scores awarded a prize, a set of stationery and comic books “first aid”.
Finally, the team of KKN Undip doing examination for supplied medicine and tools in box of P3K at Unit Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) SDN 01 Cukil. Later, team giving an additional medicine and tools for use. ( SOURCE )

Faculty of Public Health of Diponegoro University held Educational and Trainning Program for 120 hours to candidates of member of Korps Sukarela (KSR) PMI of Faculty of Public Health of Diponegoro University. The program is being held in campus of Faculty of Public Health of Diponegoro University tittled “Realization of young volunteer in order to develop skill as pioneer of generation of Indonesia Red Cross”.
Speaking in the event, Dean of Faculty of Public Health, Hanifa Maher Denny, SKM.M.PH.,Ph.D. said that this program is very important for members of KSR. In addition, the materials that are given will support the academic process also.
“Educational and Training Program for 120 hours is to give basic skill for new members to conduct their duties”, Hanifa Maher Denny said. Then she wore a sign of the participants to the representative of the participants.Meanwhile, the purposes of the program are to prepare the members of KSR PMI of Faculty of Public Health of Diponegoro University that have skill and competency. Second, to optimize the rule and duty as members of KSR PMI of Faculty of Public Health of Diponegoro University. Third, to develop the member’s skill to get involve actively in red cross activites.The program will being implemented starts from 1st to 13th of February 2017. There are 41 participants that getting involved the program. It will being trained by the member of PMI of Kota Semarang that will presents some materials such as Indonesian Red Cross movement history and red cross symbol, Code of Conduct, First Aid, Family Care and others.

This year Kanazawa University, Japan opens Doctoral Scholarship for Lecturers that have got Master degree. The dissemination activities of scholarship was held in Courtroom Rector, Building of Widya Puraya, Friday 3rd of February 2017.
Team Kanazawa University are welcomed by Prof. Edi Riyanto as Chief of Department of Development and Improvement of Educational Quality (LP2MP) Undip. Prof. Edi said that Undip appreciate and welcome enthusiastically for the program. Hopefully, it will be continued with other collaboration such as student exchange and joint research.
Meanwhile, Senior Advisor of Kanazawa University, Asep Purqon,Ph.D. explained that the program of KU- Ristekdikti is for teacher in Indonesia who have got master degree and eager to get doctoral degree from Kanazawa University.
Further, Asep said that not to worry for applicants that could not speak Japanese fluently. The students will be joined in internasional class. For preparation, team will open two classes for to learn the Japanese, named intensive class and survival class free of charge in October 2017. Intensive class will learn the Japanese language a whole, then, the survival class is learning daily routines in Japan.
The program will be held for 36 up to 48 weeks, depending on the study program that will be taken. It is supported by Beasiswa Unggulan Dosen Indonesia Luar Negeri (BUDI-LN) supervised by Kemenristek Dikti. There is earlier fund given by LPDP 250 yen for applicants that are accepted.
