MAGISTER TEKNIK KIMIA PEROLEH AKREDITASI A

(2/6) Semarang, Magister Teknik Kimia Fakultas Teknik Universitas Diponegoro kembali mendapatkan akreditasi A dari BAN-PT pada tahun ini. Berdasarkan keputusan BAN-PT No.3316/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-PPJ/M/VI/2020 maka ditetapkan bahwa Magister Teknik Kimia berhak mendapatkan akreditasi A yang berlaku dari 31 Mei 2020 – 31 Mei 2025.

Mengapa akreditasi dari BAN-PT menjadi penting?

BAN-PT merupakan lembaga resmi pemerintah yang membantu melakukan tugas dan kewajiban serta melaksanakan pengawasan mutu dan efisiensi pendidikan tinggi. Pengakuan BAN-PT terhadap suatu lembaga Pendidikan adalah jaminan standar minimal yang menunjukan lulusannya memenuhi kualifikasi untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke tingkat yang lebih tinggi atau memasuki pendidikan spesialisasi, atau untuk dapat menjalankan praktek profesinya (to recognize an educational institution as maintaining standards that qualify the graduates for admission to higher or more specialized institutions or for professional practice).

Magister Teknik Kimia FT UNDIP mendapatkan akreditasi A yang merupakan kualifikasi akreditasi terbaik dengan skor 371. Indikator penilaiannya antara lain; (1) Kurikulum dari setiap program pendidikan, (2) Jumlah dosen/tenaga pendidik, (3) Keadaan mahasiswa/murid (4) Koordinasi pelaksanaan Pendidikan, (5) Sarana dan prasarana Pendidikan, (6) Kesiapan administrasi akademik, kepegawaian, keuangan, dan rumah tangga dari sekolah/perguruan tinggi.
