Semarang, undip.ac.id – After participating in the International Workshop entitled “How to Develop Standardization Education in the Developing Countries” which was held by the Faculty of Engineering on the 21 and 22 of October 2009 at Novotel Hotel Semarang, Mr. Toshiaki Kurokawa (Former President of International Cooperation for Education about Standardization/ICES) is scheduled to give lecture for students in the Faculty of Engineering on Friday, October 23, 2009.

Title of his lecture is “Japanese Education on Standardization“. With this lecture students are expected to have better understanding about the benefit of standard implementation. The implementation of it in the context of Japanese industries will be presented to show how standards and standardization have helped Japan’s products to excel in quality internationally.
