(9/6) The Faculty of Engineering in collaboration with Pertamina held a public lecture with the theme “Transformation and Development of Human Resources with AKHLAK Values”. This public lecture was held at the Engineering Hall, Dekanat Building 5th Floor, and was attended by students from various departments in the Faculty of Engineering.
The event was opened by remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Ir. M. Agung Wibowo, M.M, M.Sc, Ph.D. In his remarks, he appreciated Pertamina’s openness to collaborate with the Faculty of Engineering up to now. In addition, he also gave a motivational speech for the students who participated in this public lecture to adapt themselves to competing at the international level. He explained that this public lecture was held as a means to help students develop themselves. “Ask as much as you want in this public lecture. Make this public lecture a precious moment,” he said in front of the students of the Faculty of Engineering.
After the opening remarks from the Dean, the event was then continued with a public lecture delivered by the Director of Human Resources of Pertamina, Ir. M. Erry Sugiharto, S.T, M.T, M.H. In his lecture, he made a presentation about how the transformation and development of human resources in Pertamina run over the years. For him, the development of human resources is very important because it related to the sustainability of a company. By applying AKHLAK values, a company like Pertamina can maintain the quality of its workers so that they can provide the best work.
At the end of his presentation, M. Erry Sugiharto showed his gratitude towards the Faculty of Engineering for giving him an opportunity to deliver a lecture about the development of human resources management in Pertamina. He hoped that his lecture can be useful for the participants who attended this event, “Hopefully this presentation can be useful,” he said.
