The signing ceremony was held in the Senate Room, Dekanat Building 3rd Floor. At this event, representatives from PRTKS BRIN were present, led by the Head of the Organization for Energy and Manufacture Research BRIN, Dr. Haznan Abimanyu.

This collaboration focused on developing research and innovation related to the design and construction of multisensory buildings that are earthquake-resistant, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly. Head of the Organization for Energy and Manufacture Research BRIN, Dr. Haznan Abimanyu, explained that the development of design and construction aims to provide the latest research breakthroughs that are beneficial for Indonesia which is commonly affected by the earthquake. “In this collaboration, the research will be conducted related to the architectural design of multisensory buildings, the concept of energy-efficient multisensory buildings, the construction concept of earthquake-resistant multisensory buildings, and technological simulations in the field of energy-efficient and earthquake-resistant multisensory buildings,” he said.

In addition, he also said that this collaboration could later become the stepping stone for other potential collaborations with the Faculty of Engineering Undip, such as in the field of education for the students and lecturers and in the development of other research. “With this collaboration, I hope that later we can create a collaboration program funded by BRIN. With BARISTA scheme, we can improve the capability of the students in their research.”

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Ir. M. Agung Wibowo, M.M, M.Sc, Ph.D welcomed the collaboration with PRTKS BRIN this time. He said that the Faculty of Engineering itself has made several collaboration agreements with BRIN, including with PRPJ and PRPN of BRIN.
